Health officials have released a new list of the cities in Ireland with the highest rate of coronavirus.
The statistics were shared by the Center for Health Protection Surveillance and cover the period through October 5.
One of the most important measures used by experts is the 14-day incidence rate of confirmed coronavirus cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By this metric, Donegal’s Lifford-Stranorlar region remains the worst affected area in the country, with a staggering 602.6 rate.
Dublin, which has been the epicenter of the virus outbreak here so far, only has one region on the list.
Donegal dominates the top ten, but Monaghan, Longford and Clare also have cities that have seen an increase in cases in the last two weeks.

6. Kimmage-Rathmines – 306.1
