Covid-19 Ireland: full list of lockdown rules that three counties could face as expected decision

[ad_1]

Three counties are facing a move to level three of the government’s coronavirus roadmap after a spike in cases in recent weeks.

Donegal, Waterford and Louth face anxious wait as NPHET meets today to decide if further action is needed.

One of the key metrics that health experts will use to assess whether they will join Dublin at level three is the incidence rate of confirmed cases per 100,000 residents.

Donegal has seen a big jump in this statistic, now with an incidence of 106.9. In comparison, capital was recommended for new restrictions after reaching a rate of between 80 and 100.

Meanwhile, Waterford is currently at 98.1, while Louth is at 97.8.

It should be noted that Dublin moved to a modified version of Level Three in which so-called “wet pubs” remained closed and all indoor meals were banned.

However, the government’s official road map suggests that indoor dining rooms and “wet bars” could be allowed to remain open, at the discretion of health officials.

Here is a complete list of Level Three restrictions that could go into effect for three other counties:
