More than 50 people under the age of 45 have been in critical condition after hiring Covid-19.
Two children between the ages of five and 14 are the youngest patients in the country to be admitted to an ICU.
And five people between the ages of 15 and 24 have been fighting for their lives after being diagnosed with the deadly disease.
This is in accordance with the 383 Irish cases admitted to a critical care facility before midnight on Friday.

A report from the Health Protection Surveillance Center also showed that 14 patients in the 25-34 age group have been admitted to intensive care.
Another 32 people between the ages of 35 and 44 have also battled the virus in an ICU.
However, the HPSC report does not establish the exact age, sex, or location of patients.
It also doesn’t say whether the person had an underlying condition or not.
A 17-year-old and a 23-year-old are the ages of the youngest people in the country to die from the disease.

Meanwhile, 12 more people have died from coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland, bringing the death toll to 1,458.
The Department of Health announced the figures on Sunday, as 236 new cases brought the total number of infections to 22,996.
