Coronavirus Ireland: Six new deaths, 6,110 new confirmed COVID-19 cases with more than 3,500 in Dublin

Health officials today announced 6,110 new cases of the coronavirus in Ireland.

That brings the total number of cases in the country since the pandemic began to 117,197.

Sadly, there have also been six more deaths from COVID-19 in the country, public health officials confirmed tonight.

3,655 of the current new cases are in Dublin.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts that patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
