A Dublin primary school sent an urgent letter to parents after a case of coronavirus was confirmed.

St. Joseph’s CBS Elementary School in Fairview made the announcement Tuesday.

School officials confirmed that the HSE will notify any close contact of the student who tested positive.

In the meantime, the rest of the school will remain open and will continue to function normally.

“The HSE was contacted and informed that they will be in contact with close contacts of the confirmed case.

“These close contacts will be asked to restrict their movements and will be given an appointment for a test.

“Close contacts have been identified and have been informed by the school of this.

“Only those contacted by the HSE should restrict their movements.

“The HSE has informed the school that all other students can continue to attend school.”
