The north side of Dublin is the hardest hit by COVID-19 and some areas have almost four times more infections than the south side.
The latest figures from the Center for Health Protection and Surveillance reveal that the North Dublin area reported the highest number of cases in the 14 days to midnight on 9 September with 195.
Dublin South had the lowest rate of infection with only 50 cases reported.
The figures cover the cases registered in the eight local HSE health offices in the capital.
The Dublin North office stretches from Balbriggan to Howth and includes companies such as Malahide, Portmarnock, Swords, Rush and Artane.
South Dublin includes Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock, Stillorgan and Loughlinstown.
The North West office, which covers Dublin areas 7, 11 and 15, recorded the second highest infection rate at 174.
The Dublin North Central area reported 102 cases of the virus.
Dublin South West, which serves Crumlin, Walkinstown, Drimnagh and Tallaght, reported 128 cases, while there were 115 in Dublin West.
Dublin South East, which stretches from Sandymount to Sandyford, reported 116 cases and had the highest incidence rate of 93.8.
There were 106 cases in Dublin South City, which stretches from the city center to Ballyfermot.
The lowest incidence rate of 36.7 is found in South Dublin, but it remains alarmingly high in all regions of the city.
Tonight another 121 cases of the killer virus were confirmed in the capital.
Acting Medical Director Dr. Ronan Glynn urged people to severely limit their social contacts this weekend as health chiefs fight to get the disease back under control in the capital.
