Another Irish school has confirmed a case of Covid-19, it has emerged.
The infection at the Scoil Chlíodhna Community National School in Carrigtwohill was announced today, and the Cork Board of Education and Training was notified.
The school has followed and implemented all HSE and Department of Education guidelines.

In a statement to the Irish Examiner, a CETB spokesperson said: “The HSE is now managing this process and the school is working with the HSE and following all their advice.”
It comes after a North Dublin Montessori was forced to temporarily shut down after a child tested positive for coronavirus.
An urgent letter sent by the Health Department on behalf of the preschool, seen by the Irish Mirror, explains that the HSE has contacted the parents of the children who are considered close contacts.
The confirmed case was in contact with other students just over a week ago.

Any other student who is not considered a close contact is not required to take a test.
But if any children at school develop symptoms similar to Covid, they are asked to contact their GP as soon as possible.
All confirmed close contacts were asked to restrict their movements for 14 days.
This means that they cannot attend school, use public transportation, receive visitors at home, or go to stores unless absolutely necessary.
