Conor McGregor showed his skills yesterday by sharing a clip and a series of photos of him playing soccer with Lourdes Celtic.

After a Portugal training camp preparing to face Dustin Poirier in January, the Dubliner are home for Christmas and couldn’t say no to playing in their former refuge.

Falling to train with Lourdes Celtic, McGregor put himself to the test as he looked to cause players problems with his pace and strength.

And in one video, McGregor is seen sporting a white jersey as he chases the play and clings to possession.

McGregor has a long association with the soccer club, and his company McGregor Sports and Entertainment sponsors the club and helped finance a remodel of its clubhouse and facilities earlier this year.

And fans may also recall seeing his skills, as he showed he has a bit of Zinedine Zidane and Jay-Jay Okocha in him while sharing videos of him playing soccer on a French beach in September.

Known for his leg kicks on his free throws, McGregor proved to fans that he is a man of many talents as he enjoyed a kick with the locals.

The Dubliner took to Instagram to share the clips, which show him looking like he recreates a famous first touch from Zidane and Nigerian icon Okocha.

After the kickoff, the UFC star urged fans to watch the videos of his story. He said: “Day at the beach playing soccer with the locals.

“Look at my story now for touch, control, delivery, athleticism and my strength, show off.”
