Children in younger babies have been sent home after a case of coronavirus was confirmed at an elementary school in North Dublin.
A message sent to parents said that all the students in the class would stay home for two weeks.
It was also clarified that Junior Infants students had no contact with any other class.
School will continue as normal and other students who are not considered close contacts are not required to take an exam.
But the Health Department warns that if any school children develop Covid-like symptoms, they are asked to contact their GP as soon as possible.
All confirmed close contacts have been asked to restrict their movements for 14 days.
However, siblings living in the same household are not required to stay home and not go to school.
It comes after an elementary school in North Cork became the third in the county to register a Covid-19 case and the HSE has been conducting a public health risk assessment after alerting parents and to the staff.

A letter from the HSE was sent to the parents of the school principal, informing them that a risk assessment had been conducted, those who had been in close contact with the confirmed case had been informed, and that all other children could attend the school normally. Morning.
The letter, seen by CorkBeo, advised parents: “If your child has not been identified as a close contact at this time, your child does not need a Covid-19 test, they can continue to attend school and they should not be taken. further action required at this time. “
However, the advice from the HSE is that children do not attend school if they show any symptoms of the virus.
If parents are concerned, they should immediately contact their GP and make sure their children do not go to school, use public transportation, go to shops or other public places, or have visitors at home.
The listed symptoms include cough, fever, loss or change in the sense of taste or smell.
The Rathcormac school is the third in County Cork to confirm a Covid-19 case since the schools were reopened.
