Kim Muir’s notable winner Mount Ida is the subject of huge betting support Saturday afternoon as she clashes with graceful mare Elimay at Fairyhouse (2.20).

Mount Ida was 999-1 in the race when it was behind at the Cheltenham Festival, but subsequently entered the race and returned home for a six-and-a-half length victory.

The Denise Foster-trained seven-year-old has been heavily supported in her first outing since, in the chase of listed mares (2.20), she was shortened to 6-4 (from 9-4). His main rival Elimay has moved to 4-6 (from 1-2).

The other major move of the day is the competitive RYBO Handicap Hurdle with Great Bear now 8-1 (for 14-1).

The progress of the eight-race card at Fairyhouse has changed from yielding to yielding, well to yielding in places.

In Great Britain, Alright Sunshine is the one getting the most attention at Musselburgh’s Betway Queen’s Cup (3.35) with support seeing him fall to 7-1 (out of 9) this morning.

The Keith Dalgleish-trained runner returns to the Flat after a strong hurdles season. He finished second in a rookie steeplechase on his debut and was tested at the Grade 2 level last time, although he only beat a local.

Alright Sunshine is four out of four on his visits to Musselburgh and continues to close behind Nate The Great in betting on the £ 75,000 handicap.

Debece is a notable non-runner in the permanent chase final (2.40) at Haydock. Dan Skelton has taken him out of the race with the silent horse.

He was a 3-1 overall favorite for the race, which is one of seven live on ITV4 this afternoon. Defuture Is Bright currently leads the betting at 4-1.
