Charley Pride died at age 86 after a fight with Covid-19.
The country music legend died Saturday in Dallas after complications from the coronavirus.
Her best known tracks include Kiss An Angel Good Mornin ‘, Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone, and Mountain of Love.
The tributes to the star flooded social networks after the sad news of his death.
Among them, one said: “It is sad to share the news that Charley Pride died today in Dallas due to complications from Covid-19 at age 86. Charley is the first black country music superstar and the first black member of Country Music. Hall of Fame. #RIPCharleyPride. ”

His musical career was brilliant and over time he received a catalog of awards, including the Grammy Awards.
These awards included: the Country Music Association Artist of the Year award in 1971, the best male vocalist award in 1971, the same again in 1972, and a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.
Her breakneck career saw the star chart 25 country top 10 hits.

So, of course, Charley made a huge impact on the country music industry.
The musician followed in the footsteps of people like DeFord Bailey.
He last performed on November 11 of this year.

The star sang the vocals to her song Kiss An Angel Good Mornin ‘at the CMA Awards show at Nashville’s Music City Center.
Charley was married to Ebby Rozene Cohran Pride.
The musician has also left behind his sons Carlton Kraig Pride, Charles Dion Pride and Angela Rozene Pride.
