Jamie Carragher believes Man Utd is potentially one signing away from challenging Liverpool and Man City for the Premier League title.
The Red Devils made great progress in the second half of last season, as they soared up the table to finish third, thanks in part to the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already recruited Donny van de Beek from Ajax in a £ 40m deal, while he has been constantly linked to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

And Carragher believes that the possible signing of Sancho or another “one or two” players could see Man Utd challenge for the title.
Carragher told the sunday time: “Roy Keane took me down last year on Sky Sports when we were talking about Manchester United and I said, ‘They are never as bad as you think.’
“I’ve always thought that one or two little things can change it and, for me, signing Bruno Fernandes in January has completely changed United.
“That is just a signing. He came in and suddenly United were a totally different team. That’s how close it is. It may be that between Jadon Sancho and then United is fighting for the title. They are not as far as people think. One or two more signings could make a difference. “
