Brian McFadden’s fiancee has announced that she is pregnant after undergoing IVF treatment.
The former Westlife singer and fiancee Danielle Parkinson will welcome their baby into the world in May, praising their happy news as a “miracle” after the 39-year-old teacher suffered two miscarriages after undergoing treatment for fertility.
Brian shares two daughters Molly (19) and Lilly-Sue (17) with his ex-wife Kerry Katona.
Danielle said OK! magazine: “We are planning May 14. But they said that normally with their first baby it can be early.
“It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel terrible saying that, since I have had so many messages on Instagram. The IVF community is so beautiful and I have heard real traumatic stories from people who have tried for 10 years, people who have had more than eight miscarriages, so I feel like we were lucky on our third try. “
The couple also thanked their friends Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall for their support and advice after the couple put them in touch with a nutrition expert who created a diet plan that they believe helped them conceive.
Brian said, “Mike and Zara put us in touch with Simone, the nutritionist who set us up for this moment. After we had the miscarriage, we sat down with them and talked. This woman put us on a certain diet, and Mike got He guaranteed it. It would work. He was absolutely right. “
The 40-year-old singer believes the new baby will bring him even closer to his teenage daughters.
He said “Obviously Molly lives in Dublin now so we don’t see her as much as we would like but we are happy now that Lilly is with us as we get to see her so much more. Very motherly and I can’t wait for them to be part of our family life Also. It’s going to be good. They’re excited. They’ve been with us since the beginning of IVF, so they’ve been through all the ups and downs.
“They have been very supportive. And they are no longer children. Molly is 19 years old and Lilly will turn 18 in February. They have been through this before, they have helped a lot to raise their brothers and sisters at home. They were both almost crying when they saw the scan, because they’ve been on the roller coaster with us. “
However, the couple have not shared their news with Kerry.
Brian said, “We haven’t told Kerry. We have only told very, very close family and friends.”
