She continued: ‘It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel terrible saying that, since I have had so many messages on Instagram.

‘The IVF community is so lovely and I’ve heard real traumatic stories from people who have tried for 10 years, people who have had more than eight miscarriages, so I feel like we were lucky on our third try.’

During the interview, the couple also revealed that Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall, who suffered a miscarriage themselves, put them in contact with a nutritionist, who they say helped them conceive.

“Mike and Zara put us in touch with Simone, the nutritionist who set us up for this moment,” Brian said. ‘After we had the miscarriage, we sat down with them and talked. This woman would put us on a certain diet, and Mike guaranteed it would work. I was fully prepared. ‘

The couple previously revealed that they suffered a ‘devastating’ miscarriage in late 2019 after a year-long IVF trip.

They opened up about their fertility struggles in OK! magazine, explaining that they tried to conceive naturally for two years, before turning to doctors for help.

Danielle, who suffers from a low egg count, recounted how excited she was to get pregnant during the couple’s first round of IVF, but was heartbroken when she lost the baby at five weeks.

Danielle said: ‘It was horrible. She [the gynaecologist] showed us that my uterus was empty. I was crying, I felt numb. Brian was upset too, but it was too strong for me. ‘

Brian added: ‘We were devastated. I didn’t think the baby was gone … it was the worst sinking feeling I’ve ever had. ”

The musician is the father of two daughters, Molly, 18, and Lilly, 16, with his ex-wife Kerry Katona, 39.

Danielle explained that she has quite low AMH [Anti-Müllerian hormone], which means that it produces eggs, but there are only a few.

Although the couple managed to get pregnant in their first round of IVF, five weeks into Danielle said she had bled and her pregnancy symptoms disappeared.

Danielle, who was alone at the time Brian was working in Dubai, visited the hospital where they confirmed that she had lost the baby with a blood test.

The fitness guru had to tell her fiancé over the phone that they had lost their unborn baby, before flying off to emotionally support each other.

Brian admitted that he had a hard time accepting the tragic news at first and booked Danielle an appointment with a top gynecologist in the country, where she was told that she had definitely lost the baby to a scan.

The couple revealed that they tried to be strong for each other after being completely shocked by the loss of the pregnancy.

Brian said: ‘We were making plans and choosing baby names. I even avoided doing concerts abroad near the deadline. As for us, we were out of the woods.

Danielle explained that ‘anything’ can trigger the feelings she first felt when she heard the news, yet the couple insist they have not given up hope of having a child.

Their second egg implant did not take place, but they still have the option of two more rounds of IVF, in which Brian admitted that he felt safe.

Danielle previously would “know” when they had tried long enough, and they had also considered a surrogate and adoption as other options for the future.

The couple first spoke about their fertility issues during a heartfelt and emotional interview with earlier this year.

Talking to OK! magazine, Brian confessed that although they had been ‘having fun trying’, they were considering other options.

Danielle added: ‘Absolutely [we would consider IVF]. We’ve even talked about adoption, we just want to have children. ‘

However, it has since come to light that they were already going through the IVF process at the time.

Brian asked his other half the question over Christmas last year, however he admitted that his current priority is having a child and that the wedding can wait.

In addition to concentrating on having a baby, Brian previously revealed that they were putting the wedding ‘on hold’ amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The singer said that all of their plans had gone out the window while they wait to see what happens to the social distancing guidelines.

Speaking in Heat magazine, Brian said: ‘We have put our plans on hold for now. We’re just going to wait and see what happens in the next few months. ‘

Brian previously revealed that he would not ask his sons to be bridesmaids due to the fact that they are ‘probably fed up’ of walking down the aisle with their mother Kerry, who has been married three times.

Speaking in January, she joked: ‘They’ve been your mother’s bridesmaids [Kerry Katona] about five times already, so they’re probably sick of it.

‘There are so many times you can be a bridesmaid. They must be thinking, ‘Not another damn wedding!’

Brian and Kerry were married from 2002 to 2006, and the Irish singer was married to Vogue Williams in 2012 for four years.

He was also engaged to Australian singer Delta Goodrem, but things ended in April 2011.

Meanwhile, Kerry married Mark Croft for four years in 2011, before marrying George Kay in 2014 and separating three years later.
