Sadly, the body of a homeless man was found in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The discovery of the commotion was made in the North Wall area near the IFSC, where the man in his 40s was found just before 6 a.m.
Gardai says they are investigating “all the circumstances” surrounding his death, but are not treating him as a suspect.
The man’s body has been transferred to the city’s morgue and Gardai says the results will determine the course of the investigation.

Anthony Flynn, executive director of Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH), said he was “completely saddened” by another death on our streets.
He said: “We have constantly called for the activation of the ‘Cold Weather Initiative’, this has failed before we start. No one should be on the streets in a pandemic.
And he added: “How loud do we have to scream, how many more have to die?”
Feed Our Homeless founder Tony Walsh echoed those words.
He said: “It is very sad to hear that another life has been lost in the streets.
“We have been constantly calling on the Minister of Housing and also the relevant authorities to activate the much needed emergency beds of the Cold Winter Initiative to help the most vulnerable on our streets.
“And most importantly, help prevent deaths like this on our streets.”
He added: “No one should have to lose their life in this way or sleep in the open in unacceptable conditions, especially during a pandemic.”
