A middle-aged man was found dead in the city of Cork on Tuesday night.
The body of the man, in his 50s, was found on Carey’s Lane in the city center around 7 p.m.
Gardai and other emergency services rushed to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
His body was taken to Cork University Hospital, where an autopsy will be performed.
The man’s death is not believed to be considered suspicious at this time.
