A teenager has been airlifted to hospital after an accident involving a school bus in Cork.
The incident occurred on Ballydehob / Schull Road around 3pm this afternoon.
An 18-year-old man was airlifted to Cork University Hospital after the collision.
It is understood that the bus had no children at the time.
AA Roadwatch says the road is blocked after a “serious” incident.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí is currently at the scene of a traffic collision involving a car and bus on R592 that occurred at 1:20 p.m. on October 23, 2020.
“A man was injured and taken to hospital. There are no further updates at this time.”
