A car from the GARDA armed support unit with two officers on board was rammed into a checkpoint and a school girl was hit by the hand by the same car when she left the scene, it was alleged yesterday.
Detective Sgt. Niall O’Connell made this allegation in Cork Circuit Criminal Court when Garda opposed bail for Andrew Cash, 28.
