A crib sold in Ireland has been urgently recalled for fear of the children’s safety.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission shared the alert on the ‘Featherlite Light Travel Cot’.
It was sold on the LittleLife children’s company website.
JPAC said a problem has been identified with the product where it could become unstable and tip over under certain circumstances.
This could cause a child to slip out of the crib and potentially injure themselves.
It is understood that a product has been sold to a customer in the Republic of Ireland.
Anyone affected by the recall is asked to stop using the product immediately and to contact LittleLife directly.
A spokesperson for CCPC said: “Lifemarque Limited will contact the affected customer directly to inform them of this recall. Lifemarque Limited (operating as ‘LittleLife’) has also highlighted the recall on its website.
“If you believe that you have purchased this product, you should immediately stop using it. You must return the product along with proof of purchase to the address shown on the withdrawal page of your website and indicate if you would like a new replacement version. (when available) or, alternatively, a full refund. All return shipping costs will also be fully refunded.
