The Italian government has unveiled plans for the sport to resume, meaning the Cluba’s Series A could return to training as soon as Monday.
Elite-level soccer in Europe was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the Italian authorities issued a general ban on matches in early March.
The decision to suspend matches in England was also made at the time and Aston Villa is among the clubs awaiting the next move in the Premier League.
Under measures to ease the blockade policy in Italy, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte had laid out plans that would allow individual athletes to re-train on Monday.

But that inconsistency has been questioned with sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora, demanding a review of the policy.
According to The Guardian, respected Italian media Corriere dello Sport and Gazzetta dello Sport cited a statement signed by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, which allows training camps to be opened on Monday, provided social distancing measures are observed.
“Athletes and non-athletes from non-individual disciplines, like all citizens, can participate in individual sports in public or private areas, respecting the interpersonal safety distance of at least two meters,” as reported in the note.
