Mikel Arteta was delighted with Arsenal’s third consecutive victory after West Brom was cast aside in the snow at The Hawthorns.
After a miserable seven-win streak, the Gunners have now triumphed three times since Boxing Day, with Sam Allardyce’s Baggies unrivaled by Arteta’s side.
Kieran Tierney scored a solo goal before Bukayo Saka completed a delightful play to give the Gunners a dominant lead at halftime.
Alexandre Lacazette then scored twice in the second half as Arteta’s team headed for victory.
“It was a convincing victory, and winning three games during the festive period in the Premier League is not easy,” said Arteta. BT Sport.
“The first goal with Kieran was fantastic and the second goal with the player mix was also fantastic.
“The clean sheet, the second in a row, gives us a platform to go ahead and win the games and we look more creative in the last third.
“I’m very happy because the table looks completely different, the energy around the venue is much better, the wins bring confidence and that can be seen in the way the team played today.”

Tierney believes that Arsenal are receiving their reward for a tough graft on training ground under Arteta’s tutelage.
“We want to rack up points, climb the table and the last few games we’ve done that,” Tierney said. BT Sport.

On his solo effort in the first half, the Scotsman added: “The guys call it a cross.
“I don’t score many, so I’m delighted with the goal.”
