A popular brand of chicken sold at Aldi is being recalled due to salmonella concerns.

Several weeks ago a recall notice was issued for several batches of chicken, but now all batches are being recalled.

The problem affects roosters south of fried popping chicken and roosters with breaded popping chicken.

Retailers are told to remove products from sale, while consumers are warned not to eat them if they have already purchased them.

Salmonella symptoms typically take 12 to 36 hours to manifest.
