Two children were robbed and assaulted by a gang of thugs in a park in a horrible morning incident in Dublin.
The couple, both 18, were attacked and items stolen by the gang in Porterstown Park next to St. Mochta Church Sunday around 4:30 a.m.
Gardai issued an appeal when a manhunt was launched to find the vicious group behind the double assault.
There is already a vital piece in the terror attack that Gardai believes could help catch the attackers as they seek information on “a dark hatchback car that was parked outside the Porterstown Park parking lot.”
A Gardaí spokesperson said: “The Blanchardstown Garda station is appealing by any witness, or by anyone with information about the robbery and assault of two boys (18 years old) that occurred in Porterstown Park, Porterstown Road, next to the church of St. Mochta on Sunday at 4:30 am.

“Gardaí is also calling on people who were in Porterstown Park in the Porterstown Road area from 2 am to 5 am on the morning of Sunday, October 18, 2020 to come forward.”
He added: “Gardaí is also asking drivers, including taxis, who can have dash cam footage during this time, to make it available.
“The Gardaí are eager to identify a car with a dark hatchback that was parked outside the Porterstown Park parking lot.
