AMANDA’s youngest daughter Holden caused confusion after claiming that Simon Cowell had separated from her partner Lauren Silverman.
Hollie, 8, made the suggestion in the most public way possible, during a live Instagram feed to her mother’s 1.4 million followers.
Amanda, 47, had been telling fans about how she visited her British boss Got Talent at her home to portray him as a bachelor of her charity when she mentioned Lauren.
Hollie unexpectedly said, “Did I think they were separated?” before Amanda quickly replied “Don’t be stupid.”
The BGT judge, who pressed his Golden Buzzer for the mother-daughter duo Honey and Sammy over the weekend, said: “I played Simon the album because Simon was very nice and invited me to come and sing at the shows in Live from Britain’s Got Talent. ” , which I will still do when it is.
“But I thought I’d take it and have a cup of tea and see what he thinks. I don’t know why I did it. It was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done in my life. My life.
“It was like the opening night of a West End show.”
Amanda then went on to talk about how Lauren recently sent her some photos of her and Simon cooking during the lockdown when Hollie interrupted to ask, “Did I think they were separated?”
Clearly stunned Amanda replied, “Simon and Lauren?” to which Hollie said, “Yes.”
Amanda quickly said, “Don’t be stupid” as the conversation progressed.
Amanda tells The Sun Online: “Hollie last saw Lauren when she was about to board a plane back to the United States during BGT auditions to visit her oldest son, so I can only guess that that’s what made her, incorrectly, think about it.
“Actually, Lauren and I have even been exchanging photos of our locked families. And Simon has even learned how to cook!”
Since then, a source told The Sun Online: “This was just the case for a boy who was a boy; get confused and do things completely wrong. “
A Simon spokesperson told MailOnline: “Simon and Lauren are still very close together and locked up together in California.”
Simon, 60, and Lauren, 42, who became a couple in 2013, were seen running errands together and entertaining their 6-year-old son Eric.
Simon previously said that being in a stable relationship with Lauren and caring for Eric has made life so much more rewarding.
He told the Daily Star: “Eric is absolutely amazing and a lot of fun. That [being a father] It’s the best thing that happened to me “.
