“Dad, please take care of my son,” he wrote. ‘Teach her the change of circle and how to find friends forever. Now you are on duty with Grandpa in heaven.

One of the photos showed Kara and her father smiling from ear to ear while holding their first daughter, Decker, who is now four years old.

Another sweet black and white photo showed the proud grandfather looking great in sunglasses as he posed with Decker, who looked like a chef training in his hat and apron.

An earlier photo showed the pro ball player walking an angelic Kara down the hall as she married NFL star Kyle Bosworth.

One photo showed Matt and his wife Jeana Keough looking sturdy in vests as they posed with Kara and her brothers Shane and Colton Keough.

A final image showed Kara in the late 1980s, when she was just a baby, as her father proudly sat her on her knees.

Matt was married to Kara’s mother, Jeana, from 1984 until he requested a separation in 2004.

Despite being legally separated from Jeana, Matt continued to live with her in the early RHOC seasons.

He was sentenced to one year in prison after receiving a second DUI in 2010, and his ex appeared in court to ask for a probation sentence.

The reality star revealed that they finalized their divorce last year after more than a decade of delays.

Matt was best known for playing six years for the Oakland Athletics in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a right-handed pitcher. The team announced his death on Saturday.

“Matt was a great baseball man and a proud Oakland A,” said executive vice president of baseball operations Billy Beane in a statement. “He had an incredible passion for the game and we were fortunate to have him and his great knowledge with us during the years he worked as a special assistant.”

After his first career in Oakland, he had short seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, the New York Yankees, and the Houston Astros, though injuries derailed his playing career in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Before her father’s death, Kara suffered a tragedy when her son McCoy died during an intense childbirth.

In a long Instagram caption, she revealed that she died of shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord.

Shoulder dystocia is a birth injury that occurs when one or both of a baby’s shoulders are trapped inside the mother’s pelvis during labor. In most cases, the baby is born safely.

Kara’s mother Jeana was previously a cast member on The Real Housewives Of Orange Country from seasons one through five, and continued as a guest periodically until season 12.
