Three properties were registered today “as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of illegal drugs and antisocial behavior in the Ballymun area.”
Gardaí said the searches were carried out by members of the DMR North’s Divisional Crime Task Force, assisted by members of Ballymun, the Armed Support Unit and the Public Order Unit.
In a statement, Gardaí said that “three residential properties in the St Josephs Way area were registered as part of this operation.”
They said about 1,000 euros in cannabis was discovered and seized, pending analysis, along with drug paraphernalia and a burner phone.
Four motorcycles from the three locations were also seized.
Gardaí said: “It is suspected that they are used in transportation for the sale and supply of drugs in the Ballymun area.
“A taser disguised as a mobile phone was also seized from one of the properties.”
Gardaí said a woman in her 50s and three men, two in their 20s and one in their 50s, were arrested. They are all detained at the Ballymun Garda station.
Gardaí added: “A fourth man, in his 20s, was treated by subpoena after he was found to possess a small amount of cannabis (analysis pending).”
