An unidentified club has submitted a £ 75 million offer for Lille striker and Liverpool and Man Utd target Victor Osimhen, according to reports.
Osimhen has attracted interest across Europe after scoring 18 goals in 38 appearances during his decisive season in France.
The 21-year-old was fourth on the Ligue One scoring charts, at Neymar’s level, before the season was cut short due to the global pandemic.
Osimhen had impressed enough to be named as a “priority” objective for Man Utd this summer, while Inter Milan are among the continental clubs watching events.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham all have has also been linked but it is unlikely that he was behind the £ 75 million offer Lille received for the Nigerian.
French outlet Telefoot suggests that an unidentified side has completely ignored the fact that literally no one has money to bid on Osimhen’s services.

Liverpool are almost certain not to be the club in question after emerged they were planning a second successive summer without big signings due to the current financial situation.
The Reds hoped to go after Timo Werner and Houssem Aouar of Leipzig and Lyon respectively, but now they are “budgeting for lost revenue” and “now seem almost certain” of not spending anything.
United may also be discarded due to Ed Woodward’s Recent Comments referring to the transfer window.
Odion Ighalo believes that his compatriot is “the future of Nigerian soccer” who “has the heart of that lion.”
“I speak to Osimhen, he is a very nice young boy, he is a good guy,” said Ighalo TV Elegbete last month.
“We talk, not almost every day, but almost every time I advise him.
“He is the future, he will do very well in football.” I always advise you to stay calm, keep working hard, and the guy is going to be a celebrity, you know.
“I love him, I just want him to keep working as hard as he is, he’s going to break so many records in Europe and Nigeria.”
