Usain Bolt loses it on social media after Fred’s mistake against Leicester

Usain Bolt spoke on behalf of many Manchester United supporters with his reaction to Fred’s mistake that allowed Leicester City to open the scoring in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored the first of his double against the Red Devils by pouncing on a pass from Fred after 24 minutes at King Power Stadium and longtime United fan Usain Bolt wasn’t too happy about that.

Bolt spoke to Fred on his Instagram stories while reacting in real time to the 28-year-old’s mistake.

“Fred must not be in my field,” Bolt said. “Fred is not good!”

It is not the first time that Bolt has made it clear that he does not value the Brazilian midfielder.

Just earlier this week, the sprint legend gave an interview to CNN in which he exposed United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s biggest flaw and criticized Fred for his lack of quality.

Bolt said: “I think Fred shouldn’t be in midfield. I think it lacks a lot. He works hard, but he lacks passes and gives away a lot of cheap fouls in bad areas ”.

While Bolt didn’t shy away from blaming Fred for his mistake on Sunday, Solskjaer refused to point a finger at any of his players after crashing out of the FA Cup.

Solskjaer insisted that he will continue to encourage his team to build from behind.

“When we win, we win together and when we lose, we lose together,” Solskjaer told BBC Sport.

“We are not pointing fingers and blaming, the second is a good goal [from Youri Tielemans] for the boy, but maybe with a little energy we could have gotten to him and we wouldn’t have ended up so easily in the middle.

“That has been one of our strengths, keeping a clean sheet and being tenacious, but we didn’t have the opportunity.”
