“The symbols of our traditional culture of music and dance, a central part of our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in normal times, are played over the skies over Dublin in the spectacular light show.

“Drones swarm the image of a globe turning green and formations of Celtic art, before wishing the world a Happy St. Patrick’s Day in an explosion of sparkling shamrocks.”

The exhibition is set with music by composer Eimear Noone and her husband Craig Stuart Garfinkle, who collaborated with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and the band Picture This, to produce a score with an orchestral remix of the band’s latest single ‘Things Are Different’ .

The film will air on social media around the world today, as well as on the Tourism Ireland website and the database of more than 20,000 travel journalists and writers from around the world.

Niall Gibbons, Executive Director of Tourism Ireland, said: “Although St. Patrick’s Day will be very different this year, our aim is to capitalize on Ireland’s largest exhibition in the world on March 17, to ensure that Ireland remains the priority ‘as a great vacation destination to book, when the time is right.’
