Pippa Middleton has given birth to her second child.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s 45-year-old sister Kate Middleton and her husband James Matthews have welcomed a baby girl.

A representative confirmed the news to OK! Online.

A statement read: “I am delighted to confirm that Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews was born around 4.22 am this morning (Monday March 15th) weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces.”

“Mother and baby are fine.”

Pippa and James are already parents to their two-year-old son Arthur Micheal William Matthews.

Earlier this year, Pippa and Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, confirmed the news that their daughter was pregnant.

Carole broke the news when she admitted that she hopes to be able to spend more time with the family this year, “including, of course, my new grandson.”

Pippa and James tied the knot in an impressive ceremony in 2017.

They currently live with their young son in London, but it is believed that they will buy a 72-acre country estate called Bucklebury Farm Park in Berkshire, not far from the Middleton family home. Both Kate and Pippa are very close to their parents Michael and Carole, as well as their brother James.

And the Middletons are not the only royalty in the family: James is the heir to the Scottish title of Laird of Glen Affric and his childhood was divided between St Barts and Caunton Manor in Lincolnshire.

James is also the brother of reality star Spencer Matthews, who is married to Dubliner Vogue Williams.
