REVENUE OFFICIALS HAVE seized drugs worth more than € 141,000 in two separate operations at Athlone and Dublin Mail Centers.

In a separate operation on Monday, Treasury officials at the Athlone mail center seized nearly 7kg of drugs and psychoactive substances including herbal cannabis, cannabis resin, hash cakes, benzodiazepines, and infused jellies and chocolates. of cannabis.
The packages, which originated in the UK, were declared as items such as hair bows, football souvenirs and photos. The drugs have a combined estimated value of more than € 53,500.
