This morning the body of a man was discovered in Dublin.
The grim discovery was made early this morning in the Fergal’s Lane area of Finglas Co. Dublin
Gardai is currently on the scene after being alerted to the discovery around 8.20am and an investigation has been launched.
The man is said to be in his 20s. Since then, his body has been moved from the scene to Whitehall Morgue.
Early research is understood to suggest that there was no foul play.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai is investigating following the discovery of the body of a man, in his 20s, in Fergal’s Lane, Finglas, this morning, February 18, 2021.
“Gardai was alerted to the incident at approximately 8:20 am. The man’s body has been moved from the scene to the Whitehall morgue and the local coroner has been notified.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
