THE NORTHERN IRELAND POLICE launched a murder investigation after a man was shot and killed in North Belfast tonight.

Emergency services are at the scene of the incident in the Cliftonville Road area of ​​the city.

The PSNI said that part of Cliftonville Road is closed and that several detours have been implemented.
