Gardaí appeal for witnesses after a woman is seriously assaulted in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin is seeking witnesses after an assault in the city center on Wednesday that left a woman seriously injured.

The woman, who is in her 40s, was assaulted while walking on the pedestrian walkway between Geoges Dock and Custom House Quay at the IFSC around 9:30 p.m.

She was seriously injured during the robbery and was taken to Mater Hospital, where she remains in serious condition, according to a Garda spokeswoman.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Gardaí is requesting information from anyone who witnessed the assault or was in the area of ​​Custom House Quay, George’s Dock, Harbourmaster Place or Connoly Station between 9.15 and 10 p.m. on the night in question.
