Gardai seized € 117,000 in cash, a vehicle and a Rolex watch after robbing a house in Co Dublin yesterday.
The raid took place on a property in the Coolock area of the city on Saturday.
Officers from the Garda National Office for Drugs and Organized Crime carried out the raid with the support of the Garda Dog Unit.
During the search, gardai found 117,000 euros in cash, along with a vehicle and a Rolex watch.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of involvement in a crime related to money laundering.
He is currently being held at Coolock Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Speaking this afternoon, Deputy Commissioner John O’Driscoll, Chief of Serious and Organized Crime, said: “We continue to target those who cause the most harm in our community.
“We believe that this seizure of a significant amount of cash will contribute to the disruption and possible eventual dismantling of certain organized crime groups we continue to target, building on past success in recent years.”
