Strict new Level 5 rules implemented earlier this new year force people to stay within a 5km limit of their home.
People are asked to exercise in this small radius with only a couple of exemptions allowed in order to be able to move outside of these limits.
But how far is it 5 km from your home or where you live?
Fortunately, Wexford web developer Dave Bolger created a brilliant tool that will show you the radius with the click of a button.
This website can help you find out where you can travel under the new regulations.
All you need to do is drag and drop the pin to your location and it will show you the 5km radius around your house.
It was widely used in March and April and sadly people have to republish it.
The tool will calculate the distance based on where you open it on your phone so you don’t have to do anything.
Bolger said at the time: “This map will show you what that radius looks like. You can drag the pin to get your exact location and get an accurate measurement from your door.
