Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says Virgil van Dijk’s continued recovery from his knee injury looks “very good” but has warned of his prolonged absence.
The defender has not played since mid-October after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament. As such, he underwent surgery and there is no deadline for his return.

Talking to liverpoolfc.com, Klopp offered his latest update on Van Dijk’s progress. While he conveyed hope about the progress of his star player, he warned that the center-back is far from coming back.

Klopp urged to avoid ‘disaster’ scenario
Injuries to Van Dijk and his central teammates Joe Gomez and Joel Matip have left Klopp with no options at the rear.
