Ghislaine Maxwell, the ex-girlfriend of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, has been denied bail.
The British socialite is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
In a bond application filed with the United States District Court in Manhattan, Maxwell she said she and her husband would post a bond of $ 22.5 million (£ 16.5 million) for the surety, secured by all your assets, and most of the remaining funds come from friends and family.
However, Judge Alison Nathan, who previously denied the 59-year-old bond in July, said she “again finds that no condition of release can reasonably ensure the defendant’s appearance in future proceedings.”
