There was a dramatic U-turn in Leopardstown on Monday when Jack Kennedy was confirmed a fit for Savills Chase lead partner Delta Work, only to be pulled for the day less than an hour later.
Kennedy missed his previous undercard montages, including Leopardstown Christmas Hurdle 4th Fury Road, while getting an X-ray of a collarbone following a fall on the track Sunday.
The Irish Horse Racing Regulatory Board confirmed during the meeting that Kennedy will resume his saddles from the fifth race, but 45 minutes before the Savills Hunt, it was revealed that following the advice of IHRB orthopedic consultant Dr. Kenny, Kennedy has been retired and will be reevaluated on Tuesday.
Delta Work will now be in charge of Sean Flanagan and Keith Donoghue will be in charge of Samcro.

Allaho was the main driver in the Savills Chase market (2.25) this morning and punters are hoping Willie Mullins can continue his excellent form through the festive period.
The six-year-old will be ridden by Mullins number one driver Paul Townend at Leopardstown and is now 13-2 overall (up from 8) to post a top-level first hit.
Tornado Flyer, also trained by Mullins, is another that has had good support and is now 11-1 in duration with some firms having rated a 20-1 shot overnight.
Four Leopardstown races will be broadcast live on ITV4 this afternoon. The ground is giving way on the chase track and soft on the hurdles track after 3mm of overnight rain.
