Our nifty 9/1 treble for Monday’s Premier League matches

[ad_1]

Monday night’s Premier League action has a pretty blue tint, but not in a sad way, as all six teams involved have at least some blue in their uniforms. However, a more important statistic is that three of the teams are in the top five and four are in the top seven positions in the league, so a win for last, Chelsea in seventh, could take them all the way to third if other results go your way. Let’s take a look at some value in the betting markets.

Monday 3pm: Crystal Palace vs Leicester
Amazon Prime Video

Palace has had a bad couple of weeks, conceding 10 goals in their last two Premier League games and not scoring a single one in response. At home this season, they have won just two of their seven league games, drawing two and losing three, scoring just eight and conceding 14. Leicester won here last season and have also won their two most recent league games on the road.

The Foxes are in good shape lately, having won three of their last five league games, drawing and losing one apiece. Their road form has been powerful, as they won six of their seven on the road, while losing just one, scoring 17 and conceding seven in the process. With those stats and the form comparison, we should be looking at a Leicester win here. They are available at a decent price considering those stats.

Monday 5.30 pm: Chelsea – Aston Villa
Amazon Prime Video

Chelsea’s form in their last five matches in all competitions is pretty tough as they only won one, drew one and lost three. However, at Stamford Bridge things are much better, as Frank Lampard’s men have lost just two of their last 15 league games at home. They have also beaten Villa on their most recent five visits and the odds of winning reflect that.

However, Villa is in good shape, winning three, drawing one and losing one of his last five PL games, keeping four clean sheets in that time. Away from home, they have won five of their last six on their travels, losing one and keeping five clean sheets. It’s hard to see them keeping Chelsea scoreless here though, the Blues are averaging 2.43 goals per home game, while Villa is scoring 2.0 on his league outings.

Both teams scoring don’t offer much value, but BTTS No Draw is much more pleasant to look at. While Chelsea’s form at home is good, they’ve had a bit of a wobble lately and Dean Smit’s outfit could make an impact here. We go with BTTS here and everywhere to get all three points.

Monday 8:00 pm: Everton v Man City
Amazon Prime Video

Big Carlo Ancelotti has led Everton to second place in the league and while much of the attention has been on other teams doing poorly this season, they have slipped there by doing things right. Their form at home has seen them win four and draw one of their seven, losing just two games – scoring 15 and conceding 11. They’ll need to find more goals to stay in the upper echelons of the league, but solve it and they could go the distance.

The Toffees have won four of their last five league games, but they welcome a Man City team that has beaten them in their last three visits to Goodison Park. City are undefeated in their last six league games, winning four and drawing two. Away from home, things are not so attractive, they won two of their last five, tied two and lost one. The most surprising thing is that they have only scored three goals in those five away games.

However, throughout the season, City averaged 1.0 goals per away game and Everton have conceded 1.57. The Toffees are scoring 2.14 and while Everton are in the best form at home, we can’t forget that City are undefeated in their last six games. Both teams should be on the roster here, but we should see a winner. The value is with BTTS No Draw.

Crystal Palace vs Leicester: Leicester to Win
Chelsea v Aston Villa: Both teams will not score a draw
Everton v Man City: Both teams will not score a draw
