A MOM OF TWO died from a London balcony on Christmas Day, moments after opening presents with her children.
Sharon Anne Daly-O’Dwyer, 51, died after falling from her fourth floor in Shepherd’s Bush when she went out to smoke in her robe.
His sons Taylor and Drew ran after hearing a loud bang.
They saw Ms. Daly-O’Dwyer, who had worked as a waitress before losing her job as a result of the March shutdown, lying on the floor below.
Taylor, 22, sat next to her mother’s body in her pajamas until funeral services arrived in a private ambulance to take her away.
Taylor told The Mirror: “I wasn’t breathing and my eyes were open.
“I held his hand when they stopped CPR and closed his eyes when they said they couldn’t do more.
“I gave him a kiss and said, ‘I love you.’
Taylor, who called her mother the “best,” does not know what happened in the moments leading up to Daly-O’Dwyer’s downfall.
The single mother told the newspaper: “I was very happy with your gifts.
“He said he was going to go back to bed before making dinner, but that he would only have a cigarette.”
“We were inside for two minutes when we heard a bang.
“My brother looked over the side of the balcony and said, ‘She’s down there.’
“We were just yelling.”
Drew, 19, hugged his nephew Harley, one, as Taylor rushed to be with his mother.
Her best friend Georgie Dileo, 23, said: “Taylor did not move from her side until the end of the day when the funeral homes arrived.”
Heartbreaking photos taken shortly before the tragedy show Ms. Daly-O’Dwyer smiling with her grandson.
Other snapshots show her beaming with her children in the flat’s living room.
A fundraising page created by Georgie has already raised over £ 7,000 to support the family.
Taylor told the newspaper: “We have no savings to give him a proper funeral.
“I won’t be able to forgive myself if she doesn’t get the goodbye she deserves.”
