Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling managed to secretly tie the knot last month, celebrating their love with a small ceremony in Dublin, in accordance with COVID rules.
Since then, Love Island host Laura has been as busy as ever on social media, posting daily updates on Instagram.
But while she’s been promoting everything from her work on Celebrity Juice to her love of good coffee, one thing her 1.2 million followers haven’t seen is her amazing wedding ring.
Whether it’s sinking her left hand into a fur rug, hiding it behind a coffee mug or shopping bag, or just cropping the image to cut off her ring finger entirely, Laura has used every trick in the book to keep her ring. . hidden – Mirror UK reports.
However, there has been a brief glimpse, in which only the most eagle-eyed would have noticed the pretty silver square delicately displayed.
In an image on her Instagram on December 6, the newlywed posed in a white shirt and a tuxedo jacket, promoting ITV Palooza.
The ribbon bow tie is straightened for a shot, showing off a hand full of rings, including a new addition to his ring finger.
The ring, which can be seen on his finger, is different from the yellow diamond ring that comedian Iain, 32, designed and proposed to the Irish television host, 35, in April.
According to a marriage certificate published by The Sun, Laura and Iain were married in a humanistic ceremony at Dublin City Hall on November 11.
They are said to have married in front of 25 guests, the maximum allowed by Irish level five rules at the time.
Laura’s half-brother, Adam, and Iain’s sister, Kirsten, were the witnesses, the newspaper reported.
The couple have been together since 2017 and have been engaged since Iain asked the question in South Africa, where Love Island was filming at the time.
Laura is the host of the show after she replaced Caroline Flack on the latest series, while Iain has narrated Love Island since its first season.
A source told the publication: “Iain and Laura are so in love that they really wanted to get married as soon as possible.”
