A group of senior officials have raised their top concerns around stopping the spread of COVID-19 over Christmas.
The Forum of Government Regulators, a group of agencies involved in enforcing and enforcing the guidelines, met on Friday to discuss the holiday period.

– Whenever possible, people are encouraged to shop outside of peak hours, and many retailers have extended their opening hours to facilitate a more secure shopping experience. Buyers are also encouraged to buy individually whenever possible.
– People are reminded of the importance of wearing face masks in public areas, this includes busy outdoor spaces such as shopping streets and queues.
– Companies are reminded not to hold meetings organized indoors. This means that restaurants and pubs that function as restaurants should not organize any events on their premises.
