Cork boy Adam King’s virtual hug on the Late Late You Show wowed us all, and now it will appear on millions of cards and cards as a symbol of hope and warmth.

Starting tomorrow, Saturday 12, An Post will apply a special Adam-inspired Hug on the mailing envelopes.

Adam, who comes from Youghal, told Ryan Tubridy about his dream of being a space commander.

Adam was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). It is a condition that causes brittle bones and stunted growth, which can make you prone to fractures.

Last week he returned to The Late Late, remotely, to chat with Commander Chris Hadfield.

The six-year-old is a natural on television, and Adam, surrounded by his brothers, easily chatted with Major Hadfield about all things space.

The two space enthusiasts were introduced via Skype and Adam wasted no time questioning Major Hadfield about his career in space.
