A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of teenager Keane Mulready Woods.
Keane, 17, was abducted from the Ballsgrove area of Drogheda, Co Louth and taken to a house in Rathmullen Park, where he was murdered and dismembered in January this year.
His arms and legs were dumped in a duffle bag near the home of a rival gangster in Coolock, North Dublin, on Monday night, January 13.
Gardai confirmed this morning that a man has been arrested in connection with the murder of the teenager.
A Garda spokesperson said: “A man in his 40s has been arrested this morning, Tuesday 8 December 2020, as part of the investigation into the murder of Keane Mulready Woods. He is currently detained under the provisions of the Section 50 of the Criminal Justice. Act 2007 at Drogheda Garda station. You can be detained for up to 7 days. “
