Ireland registered 242 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday.
In more positive news, no more deaths were announced during a National Public Health Emergency Team briefing.
There are now a total of 74,468 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
Dublin saw the highest number again, although infections dropped significantly to 76.
Donegal was next with 27 more people diagnosed, followed by Kilkenny with 22, 16 people in Galway and 14 in Louth.
The remaining 87 cases are spread over 18 other counties.
Of those who tested positive, 129 were women and 113 were men, while the average age was 37 years.
As of 2 pm today, 223 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, of which 28 are in ICU. There have been 9 additional hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.
