Gardaí is appealing to witnesses after a single-vehicle traffic collision on Thursday, December 3.
Gardaí and Emergency Services attended the scene of a traffic crash in Monearmor, Youghal, Co. Cork at approximately 9:20 pm. A 17-year-old man suffered serious injuries during the incident and was taken to Cork University Hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
Two men and two women in their teens were also taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment for their injuries.
The road was closed for a short period to allow a review by forensic collision investigators. Since then it has reopened.
Gardaí is asking anyone who has been in the area between 9 and 9:30 pm who witnessed this incident or anyone with camera footage (including the dash cam) to contact Gardaí in Youghal at 024 92200, the confidential Garda line at 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
