Gardai on the scene while shooting a house in the quiet town of Offaly

Shots were fired at a house in Co Offaly in a terrible incident last night.

The incident occurred in the Arden View area of ​​Tullamore around 6:50 p.m. Monday.

Two shots were fired at the window and the front door of the house, reports RTE News.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.

Officers are currently on the scene and investigations are ongoing.

A garda spokesperson said: “The Gardaí in Tullamore is investigating an alleged shooting incident in the Arden View area, yesterday evening Monday, November 30, 2020 at approximately 6.50 pm

“No injuries were reported during the incident.

“Now a technical examination of Garda will take place.

“No arrests have been made. Investigations ongoing.”
