Ivan Cavaleiro ended Fulham’s penalty curse when the Cottagers stunned Leicester out of the relegation zone.
The forward’s penalty shot, following Ademola Lookman’s first goal, gave Scott Parker’s side a surprise 2-1 victory at King Power Stadium.
The Cottagers had missed all three of their previous penalties, but are now one point above the Premier League drop zone.
Harvey Barnes took a late consolation for the hosts as Youri Tielemans and Wesley Fofana hit the wood in the first half.
Leicester remains fourth, missing a chance to tie on points with Tottenham and Liverpool on top.
The loss also added to their troubles at home, as the Foxes lost three of their last four and now face a 3,200-mile round trip to Ukraine for Thursday’s Europa League clash with Zorya Luhansk.
Fulham, however, was worth it for their victory with Andre-Frank Anguissa, Cavaleiro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all impressive.
They were lucky in the first half but rarely seemed worried once Lookman opened the scoring.
However, it would have been different if Leicester had gone ahead after 19 minutes instead of hitting the wood twice in a matter of seconds.
Harrison Reed dropped James Justin and a James Maddison free throw hit the Cottagers’ wall.
He fell to Tielemans on the edge of the area and his first shot flew through the crowd to hit the post with the rebound that found Fofana.
The defender was unmarked with only Alphonse Areola to beat, but managed to lift his shot above the goalkeeper and towards the bar from six meters.
The Foxes briefly threatened to seize control but, after Antonee Robinson fired straight at Kasper Schmeichel, Fulham took the lead in the half hour.
Anguissa took possession within her own half and lunged forward, sliding into Lookman as Fofana approached the ball.
The forward then comfortably beat Schmeichel for his second goal of the season and celebrated by lifting a Senegal jersey in tribute to former Fulham midfielder Papa Bouba Diop following his death over the weekend.
If the first game surprised the Foxes, they were shocked when Fulham took a second eight minutes later.
Bobby Decordova-Reid fell under challenge from Christian Fuchs in the box only for the game to continue. The VAR intervened and referee Simon Hooper awarded the penalty after consulting his screen.
Cavaleiro buried the penalty, three and a half minutes after the initial foul, after missing from the spot in last week’s loss to Everton.
The Cottagers had missed five of their eight previous Premier League penalties.
Fulham came to half-time unscathed, the first time they had a two-goal Premier League lead at half-time in nearly nine years.
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers introduced Cengiz Under and Barnes, but the visitors held their ground.
Loftus-Cheek even had a deflected shot and Schmeichel denied Lookman a second with 16 minutes to go.
The Foxes ran out of ideas before Barnes retired a goal with four minutes left, hammering Jamie Vardy’s knockdown, but Fulham held on.
