Irish artist draws incredible picture of Adam King who stole the heart of the nation on Late Late Toy Show

As the dust settles from last week’s Late Late Toy Show, the nation is still talking about some of the very special guests who appeared on the hit show.

This year’s show, while different from other years, was a resounding success as host Ryan Tubridy managed to bring magic into people’s homes across the country when we needed it most.

And the decision to put children first certainly paid off with several children.

In particular, six-year-old scholar Adam King appeared on the show to tell Ryan Tubridy and the more than 1.5 million people that they had tuned in to his plan for the future to one day work.

In a heartbreaking moment, Adam got out of his wheelchair and explained to Tubridy that while he can’t be an astronaut because he has brittle bones, he can certainly be a commander on the ground.

Since then, Adam’s appearance has sparked a huge response from people around the world, including the heads of NASA itself.

Now Irish artist Niall O’Loughlin is the last to pay tribute to Adam when he dedicated his latest work to the brave boy.

Paying tribute to Adam’s dreams of working for NASA, Niall has reinvented the star as Buzz Lightyear exploring the cosmos as Adam hopes to one day do.

Sharing the photo on social media, Niall said: “Anyone who watched the Late Late Toy show on Friday would have seen Adam Steal the Heart of the Nation, so I knew I had to draw it!”

Niall, a cartoonist who went viral earlier this year for his mural of medical director Dr. Tony Holohan, added that he was “overwhelmed” by the response to the image, adding that it will now reach Adam.

He added, “Thank you so much to everyone who liked and shared, etc. The family has reached out and my Adam Lightyear drawing will make its way to him very soon.
